Our Vision

quotes
Financial inclusion means that individuals and businesses have access to useful and affordable financial products and services that meet their needs – transactions, payments, savings, credit and insurance – delivered in a responsible and sustainable way.

The Great Divide

At the moment, the capital market is divided in between so called institutional and retail investors. Institutional investors are professionals (such as banks, insurance companies, pension funds, high net-worth individuals etc.), retail investors are all other participants in the market who cannot invest more than EUR 100.000 at once. The main difference is that retail products are stricter regulated in the interest of investor protection. However, this regulation leads to higher costs (i.e. lower returns) and many asset managers deem it uneconomic to even deal with a lot of retail investors compared to just a few professional investors. As a consequence, a lot of attractive financial products are restricted to professional investors while many retail investors find it difficult to even outperform inflation with their savings.

Changing the Narrative

At Fundament, we strongly believe that everyone should have the same opportunities on the capital market without compromising on investor protection. It is our mission to set up institutional grade financial products that are fully regulated by and compliant to German and European capital market laws to be open to all classes of investors. Therefore, we leverage digitization to lower administration, distribution and legal costs, which leads to higher returns. This is made possible by gathering experts in all relevant branches under our single roof “Fundament Group”. Stay tuned as the Fundament Real Estate Token is just the beginning…

Together, we build the capital markets of the future.
